The cookie bake was a concerted effort by many Rooiels ladies, who were asked to bring their best, and did! We enjoyed a joyful morning putting together cookie goodie bags. The goodie bags were gifted to the staff at various organisations: the Kleinmond community clinic, Child Welfare, Water and Sanitation and Kleinmond Animal Welfare Society.
This was our way of saying thank you for their service and dedication to the community.
During 2022, the Rooiels Outreach also organised a couple of “bake-ups”, making up small packs of home baked cookies and muffins, which were baked by our Rooiels ladies, to distribute to the Kleinmond Clinic staff, as well as the Kleinmond municipal garbage collectors.
